FYI my puter brokie.
I tried to do stuff to it. I shouldn't do that. Wanna come over and fix it? Volunteers will be fed.

So don't email me if you want a reply anytime soon either.

I got a 30.
16.4 = normal
32 = autistc, sometimes.

I was bothered that the definitions of the bubbles, (agree, disagree etc,,,) were not visible once you scrolled past the first page. :)

Not really meme. Nothing to download or copy and paste.

After I pay the Dentist for torturing me next week, I am going to Costco and see if they still have the second season of ROME. I saw it there before xmas. Not a lot of geeks like me want to watch ROME and shop at Costco. Right?

Yesterday I was having Icecream with Zand and the boy when the Boy lost his fingernail. It was injured sometime around thanksgiving and finally cam all the way off. He showed it to me with some pride and we agreed he'd keep it.
Then in the car on the way home he relaized he didn't have it. So I went back several hours later to look for it. I was poking around the table where we sat and looking kind of wierd. The first person who asked what I was looking for was great and kept looking even after he knew it was gross and another guy came over too. I guess they remember being 10.

The first best thing that happened was beautiful snow like diamonds. The sun was out at the same time as snow falling. So pretty. And for quite a long time.
I am a child.

The second good thing was I came home and my parking place had the plow ridge plowed away while I was gone. I clapped my hands and giggled like a girl.

I am so old.

You should see the blue mess I just cleaned out of the bath tub. The boy and I both have blue hair. :)
I went for the midnight type color. He chose turquoise. His is brighter on the sides than the top. I think his hair is lighter on the sides. We keep expecting it to turn brown but it is still pretty blonde. Except now. It's turquoise now. :)
My gray hairs didn't take the color well. I am a blue haired old lady.

Mercifuly, it cleaned up pretty well. Just some tint on the bottom of the tub.

Today I was accepted into the volenteer Doula program at Woodwinds hospital.
It would be nice if I could attend a birth before I start there. So if you know anyone pregnant and due in the next two months or so, I volenteer to be thier Doula.
My email is on my info page and if you have my phone number, feel free to pass it on for this purpose.
(probably they need to live within about an hour of Mpls. Sorry.)

"Iraqi Presidential Council Approves Troop Pact"

Doesn't that kind of strike you as "poop tract" at first glance? No? Maybe I should get those glasses.

Continuing my brain deficiency today, I cleaned the wrong house. The customer was happy to see me but confused. I haven't done that in years.
The owner of the house I was supposed to be cleaning was less amused.

I found them. Not in the last place I checked. In the place I had ALREADY checked. Not the top shelf of the closet, but still, in a closet. In the middle. Right in front of the door. I must have looked right at them.
Now do I decorate this weekend alone, which I will enjoy. Or wait for the boy to come back next weekend and share it with him?
I'll probably wait now I think on it. He'd be mad.
mplsfish: (Head Shot) where did I put the decorations?

YAY! Snow!

Now, where is the real stuff.

I just made the deposit for a doula training workshop. My new career choice seems to have been made. :)
No more lucrative than the current career. I'll probably have to do both. But a definate step on the path to midwife.
Now I just have to afford the dental work as well. :/

I wish people would think hard about thier positions and not make decisions based on what they've always done or on a vague feeling about a party.
Ron paul had a chance, but the party leadership dismissed him imediately. We heard from the start, don't support the looser. Do what youre told. The people didn't choose either candidate, party hacks did.
Yes I'm bitter. But no more than I was yesterday.

Looks legit to me. Don't flame me if you don't agree.
I'd do it myself if I could see any way for me to live in oregon.

I went to the Anarchist Dentist today. Yes, he is a real dentist. I reccomend him to anyone who doesn't want a lot of unnecessary crap to pay for.

There was a seroius good news / bad news dichotomy. )

I feel like I have a mouth full of pumice stones.

Too cool.

Berkley has a BUNCH of lectures available on youtube. I started one which apeared to be an hour long on the anatamy of the eye. Very detailed.

MIT has them too but I am too stupid to get the video working.

From the self-composed obituary in the Casper (Wyo.) Star Tribune of James William "Jim" Adams, who died September 9th: "Jim, who had tired of reading obituaries noting other's [sic] courageous battles with this or that disease, wanted it known that he had lost his battle ... primarily as a result of ... not following doctor's orders. ... He was sadly deprived of his final wish, which was to be run over by a beer truck on the way to the liquor store to buy booze for a date." [Casper Star Tribune, 9-23-08]

Why don't more people write their own obituaries? I think I'll start a collection for myself. Maybe I'll do one for you too.
